What Do You Need to Know?

Rainwater is widely used in Australia for use around the home from simply watering the garden or flushing the toilet, right through to the entire households needs. For drinking rainwater all that is normally needed is 5 micron filtration followed by UV disinfection. Occasionally rainwater can have taste and odour due to tree litter and wildlife. In that case we recommend carbon filtration in addition to filtration and disinfection.

Rainwater treatment

Most rainwater can be treated in the following way: Step 1: Filtration to remove sediment. Step 2: Disinfection to ensure illness causing pathogens (viruses, bacteria & protozoa) are treated.

Service & maintenance

Regular service and occasional maintenance is required to ensure your system is operating to protect you. Let Nash Water schedule regular service and maintenance or purchase consumables and spares for a DIY option.
